Women & Youth
In Uganda and most African Countries, women produce between 60 – 80% of the food. However, their role is highly disregarded, and have limited control over finances and resources. Empowering women is vital in uplifting communities out of poverty and ensuring food and nutrition at the household level.
In addition, Young people are drivers of change on the African continent. However, we have continued to talk about the youth as if they are peripheral.
They are not peripheral, but the majority. Their world may be slightly different from ours, but it is real. We should produce services and platforms that work for them because they will be at the center of regenerative transformation.
